Über die Position

We currently have a new opportunity in our Sales department, working as a Business Development Manager - Internet of Things within our succesful sales team. This is a new field based position in and around Germany/D-A-CH region, however, you will need to be able to travel to our offices, as and when required, for training and meeting purposes.

 

Purpose of the position

 

This role is responsible for identifying and managing sales opportunities within a given territory (B2B), building an in-depth understanding of client business needs and drivers. Position the BSI Product Certification - Internet of Things (IoT) value proposition, and how this fits in to the full range of BSI products and services assisting organisations to improve by Making Excellence a Habit. Deliver sales excellence by managing every step of the sales process to a successful conclusion.

 

 

 

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities

 

  • Identifying new prospects and growing the BSI customer base through targeted calls and visits with the aim of generating profitable revenue across the BSI IoT product portfolio 
  • Demonstrating fluency of your territory through the preparation of business plans, managing the potential of your territory through account and opportunity management to develop a solid pipeline
  • Effective use of price book and tools to propose main products and services
  • Fully explore customer's requests and needs whilst building strong internal networks enabling you to fully capitalize on key opportunities
  • Routinely review sales activity and quality KPIs to ensure sufficient contingency planning to deliver targets
  • Accurately record sales and order information in the CRM

 

Über Sie

Your qualification for this role..

 

  • Degree level, equivalent education or proven experience of sustained over achievement in a new business sales environment
  • Tertiary or professional exposure to the IoT through manufacturing, logistics, product implementation, or system implementation
  • A proven track record of significantly exceeding targets in a B2B sales environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • A passion for sales and customer excellence
  • A results oriented, proactive approach
  • Strong interpersonal and influencing skills
