    Job Purpose

     

    The Marketing Executive will be responsible to promote BSI and its services across the Middle East and Africa in order to to maximise sales, revenue and profit contribution along with increased client loyalty, cross sell/upsell and advocacy.

    The role requires knowledge, consideration and execution of the entire marketing mix such as digital marketing, content marketing, copywriting, advertising, web support, brochure collateral, direct mail, search engine, exhibitions and events, for maximum impact throughout the year.  

     

    Key Duties & Responsibilities

    • Contribute to the strategic planning of an annual or long term marketing plan to drive forward company’s objectives
    • Campaign management and execution through all of the traditional online and offline marketing channels specifically email marketing, thought leadership and insight papers, events and PR in order to raise BSI’s brand and support sales across MEA region
    • Liaise and building relationships. Externally, this could be with customers, partners, authorizes and so on. Internally this could mean different related and supporting departments
    • Manage PR and advertisement agencies to position BSI as the leader in the industry and further enhance BSI’s image and brand awareness.
    • Identify, plan and organize events and exhibitions
    • Edit, maintain and update content on the BSI’s English/Arabic website and all e-marketing programs
    • Manage the production of marketing materials, including leaflets, posters and flyers. This can involve writing and proofreading copy, and liaising with designers and printers
    • Measure the effectiveness of each campaign depending on the specific objectives set
    • Plan and execute marketing designs and activities to establish and maintain BSI’s brand presence in the market
    • Responsible for maximising the usage of the BSI Assurance Mark across the region
    • Organise and coordinate Certificate Handover Ceremonies with BSI clients or client specific events
    • Execution of email marketing campaigns for all BSI streams
    • Analyse campaign performance and suggest improvements
    • Monitoring and reporting on competitor activity
    • Actively seek case study candidates and PR opportunities

    Knowledge/Skills/Competencies

     

    You will have strong marketing experience as a Marketing Executive and able to hit the ground running, with a background in either a marketing agency environment or client side.

    To be successful in this role you’ll have extensive and robust experience at strategic level as well as managing a full and integrated marketing mix and of introducing new channels to existing plans. Knowledge should include web, PR, events, co-marketing, sales promotions, email marketing, plus social media strategy and techniques. 

    You'll be educated to degree level or equivalent with a marketing qualification and proven experience in a customer centric marketing role experience of B2B and/or services marketing.

    You must be a self-motivated, hardworking, well-organized and proactive team player with a strong goal-orientation; KPI’s will be set and regularly monitored.

    You will be an excellent networker and relationship builder who is customer focused, with the ability to fully understand BSI customer needs and requirements for the entire portfolio and BSI’s value proposition.

     

     

    Additionally, you will have:

    • BSc/BA in marketing, business administration or relevant field
    • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in marketing role
    • Fluent in English and Arabic
    • Expertise in digital marketing – email, website, social, mobile, thought leadership, campaign management essential.
    • Strong marketing experience of the full marketing mix, especially current tactics eg content and digital marketing.
    • Strong project management skills with the credibility to influence senior stakeholders across BSI, clients and third parties
    • Effective multiple stakeholder management experience
    • Excellent communication skills (written, oral and presentation) and demonstrable creativity with good attention to detail and results orientation
    • Microsoft Office, database applications and web literacy
