    The Area Sales Manager (North Poland) is primarily responsible for selling BSI services like certification audit and training in terms of ISO standards to new and existing customers within a given territory and market sector across a defined BSI product suite. This role is responsible for identifying and managing sales opportunities, building an in-depth understanding of client business needs and drivers, to position how BSI products and services can enable organizations to improve and manage the sales process to a successful conclusion whilst maintaining critical success factors such as high activity (visit rates) pipeline health and growth and exceeding revenue targets.

    Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities

    • Proactively network with potential/new clients to sell BSI services (training and certifications audits)
    • Identify within territory new prospects to grow the BSI customer base through targeted calls and visits to generate sales revenue in line with new business targets, backward plans and pipeline requirements
    • Routinely review sales activity and quality KPIs, based on sales ratios to plan future sales activities to deliver on financial and activity targets
    • Manage potential of territory through account and opportunity management to develop solid pipeline. Produce accurate sales forecasts in a timely manner
    • Remain up to date with developments in the standards industry and be able explain ISO standards in terms of business benefit to customers
    • Possess a deeper and wider knowledge of the products/services of quality (ISO) standards and their application to specific customer sets. Use reporting function of sales tools to aid account management and new business development
    • Able to present to key decision makers and larger audiences. Design and deliver presentations to small scale conferences. Effectively convey complex ideas and business proposals showing breadth and depth of BSI product offering
    • Accurately define requirements, including buying process, budget, positioning vs. competition and actual circumstances which positively affect potential sales. Ability to identify further and future opportunities

    Über Sie

    • Higher education degree, preferably in Business Administration, Marketing&Sales or Management
    • Experience as a sales representative or sales manager in services sector is essential
    • Proven experience in a new business sales environment
    • Proven track record of  consistently meeting or exceeding targets
    • Proven experience in closing business to business sales and winning new customers
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Polish and English
    • Excellent sales, negotiation and presentation skills
    • Outstanding interpersonal skills
    • Self-motivated and self-driven personality with strong goal orientation
    • Ability to work independently with little supervision
    • Based in North of Poland (Gdynia/Gdańsk/Sopot)
